What Writing Can Do in Rescuing My Life

Writing has becoming my favorite activity to do since I was in elementary school. It was, a pleasure. Where you can stumble around your imagination, portray things that cannot be happened in reality, arrange your secret desire, and so forth. Writing is much more than expressing a notion or feeling.

It can heal you, every time you feel like there is no one on your side. When the world becomes a cruel dimension, writing is the safest place. Writing will never judged you, though you have just revealed your biggest confidential that you have been hiding it for years.

Writing has psychological benefits. It makes you feel happier since you put your feelings on it through words that expressed thousand emotions. In other words, writing helps you to develop your both explained or unexplained feelings. You can start by writing a simple journal before you go to bed, elucidate what you have been through in a day and elaborate it into narrow emotion. Separated things that annoyed or made your day to be more specific might be helping. Since by doing this, you are able to comprehend yourself more.

Besides that, writing can also lead you to better thinking and communicating. This eliminate ‘it sounded good in my head’ syndrome, according to Ciotti, (2014). It forces notion to be organized bare for the thinker to see rather than it just jumbled in your head.

In my own experience, I have been through a hard time last year. Life is like a movie show, there are ups and downs in the story plot. I was about to end the show, however then pandemic happened and we were forced to stay at home in which I was thinking about the reliever to my stress. As I said, writing has becoming my favorite activity to do since I was in elementary school. However, college life eat lots of time that I used to spare for writing. I drew some positive sides of this occurrence — pandemic — to recall my time in writing.

At that time, I began with a simple writing I have posted on wattpad, and turns out I started writing many stories from it. It is a relief that I can share my own thoughts to people through my characters in my stories.

What I’m trying to say here is, writing has a lot of advantages. It can be a cure to someone or help them in asserting their feelings as well as assisting them to a better thinking and communicating. You may start creating a simple writing and conquer your thoughts of failure and many more by the time you share it.
